# Text

The text component is used for rendering blocks of text. Links and bold font can be rendered through Markdown. There are different styles provided which edit the color, weight, and font size. These cannot be edited through Markdown.

## Parameters

| type | `text` | Yes | The type of component you are rendering. |
| id | Any string | No | A unique identifier for the component. |
| text | Any stringMarkdown Links []()Markdown Bold ** | Yes | The text that will be rendered. |
| align | `left``center``right` | No | Aligns the text. Default is `left`. |
| style | `header``paragraph``muted``error` | No | Styles the text. Default is `paragraph`. |
| bottom_margin | `none` | No | Disables a component’s margin-bottom of 10px. |
